In every collector's home there is one room that holds a lifetime of looking. The Collector's Room opens that door.

Photographs, paintings, ceramics, art books and objects of desire come out of the curio cabinet and hang together salon style — frame to frame, floor to ceiling, the way people actually live with what they love. Nothing is arranged by medium, period or price. Curator Vichai Imsuksom has grouped them by feeling, so that a photograph asks a question and a small ceramic answers it. The pleasure is in noticing: catching the thread he has run between two unlikely things, or finding one of your own.

And because a collection is a living thing, everything here is available to take home — priced to be used and lived with, not enshrined.
